Our Story

Kevin & Scott grew up enjoying the best food ever. It was found at the table of their Grandma Alma. Whatever Alma happened to make it was always the best and there was plenty for all. Dinner was served in the warm and comfortable surroundings that was her dining room, with friends and family partaking of her gentle and loving generosity.

Using their memories of Alma as a standard they took off to pursue careers in food & drink hospitality. Kevin & Scott spent the next 25 plus years learning to please the masses. Then in 1996 they combined their talents and lessons learned to create Crossroads Delicatessen. Bringing to this little corner of Minnetonka an attempt to recreate the memories of the feelings of warmth and comfortable surroundings with the best of food and drink in generous proportions and always served with a smile. All that’s missing is the pinch on the cheek Grandma use to give.

Restaurant

Your face will light up with surprise when you see the homey, comfortable atmosphere of our 160 seat dining room and our large selection of soups, salads, deli sandwiches, Certified Angus Beef burgers, dinner entrees and desserts. Knowing you can get your favorite cocktail, ice cold beer or glass of wine will put an even bigger smile on your face.

Delicatessen

Walk through the front door to the sights and aromas of our daily offerings. A quick stroll past our bakery cases will tease you with a variety of cookies, bars, cakes, pastries and other freshly made bakery items including 13 different breads baked from scratch 7 days a week.

It’s over to the deli case to see for yourself why we scoured the country and finally found the corned beef featured at Crossroads for more than 16 years. It’s slow cooked in our kitchen every day to bring to our customers what we feel is the best corned beef available anywhere. Add to that pastrami, kosher bologna and salami, turkey and turkey pastrami, roast beef and tongue along with other savory staples and the case is just bursting with flavors.

You will also see that we proudly serve Sebastion Joe's Ice Cream served in cones, cups, sundaes, shakes and malts. A great mid-afternoon treat.
